His gritty flow and unpredictable style are designed to capture the attention and please the ear of the listener. As a Far Rockaway Queens NY and Queen City representative, Mic O’leon also known as Spillz, Spilly, or Spillberg, takes pride in his writing abilities and the energy given within his delivery. He compares his flow and writing style to no other but a spill on a flat surface, where you have no idea in which direction it will go. He has no problem warning other emcees of the expert level pen game on display, as Spillz constantly delivers bars that make you want to rewind.

The Grumpy Hustla brand is something that Spilly’s persona relates to perfectly as he represents the grind,hard work, and dedication to constant elevation. Spilly didn’t always consider himself to be a equal  force  to deal with up against his fellow group members.  Spilly progressed throughout  the years to perfect his style, He sat in the shadows as a member of a group called Lethal back in the early 90’s as his group mates were on another level lyrically, forcing Spilly to sharpen his pen over the years, preparing him for the opportunity that has arisen with Grumpy Hustla. Fitting in with his Grumpy Bros. Khalil Amin, Shawn Capri, and G1 Illy, together their sound is unmatched as they all complement one another perfectly on every track. 

Committed to doing whatever he can to making Grumpy Hustla a household name, Spilly not only continues to be active in sharpening his pen skills he also will be staring in an upcoming movie called “Karma” while representing the GH gang in the movie’s soundtrack.
